BigZak FAQ
Here are answers to some Frequently Asked Questions. If you have other questions, you can use my contact form.
How Much Can I Earn?
I honestly have no idea. I am just getting started in this industry. That means I only have a vague idea of competitive pay rates, and I don't know what my break-even point is. Other recruiters throw around big dollar figures, but I have to assume they are best-case scenarios, for very attractive girls willing to do absolutely everything. It also seems that there are people out there who offer lots of money but then never pay up (I always pay up front). We will talk and agree on a rate that you feel comfortable with. I might make money, or I might lose money, but I have to get started somewhere.
Obviously, the more work you do, the more money you will make. My interest in hiring you on a repeat basis will depend on how attractive you are, how much you are willing to do, and whether I can afford to pay you for multiple sessions. I can also make sure your work is seen by other producers.
Is it Legal?
Yes, absolutely. I have no desire to tangle with the law. Everything we do has been cleared by my attorney, and we follow all state and federal law, including record-keeping requirements.
Where Will the Videos Appear?
The videos will appear online, where they will be available for sale. This may be on my own web sites, or the content may be sold to other web sites.
What is it Like to Work with You?
I have been working with models for years, and I have a professional, easy-going attitude which makes people feel comfortable very quickly. I have learned to communicate thoroughly so that the people I work with know exactly what will be expected of them and there are no surprises. I am very up-front about what I want, and there is no pressure to do more than we have discussed, and there's nothing sneaky going on. My rule is simple: if we didn't discuss something before the shoot, it doesn't happen.
How will I be Paid?
You will be paid at the beginning of every photo shoot. You will be paid cash, for which you will be asked to sign a receipt.
What Privacy do I Have?
You will always use a stage name. Your real name will not be associated with the content. Your private life and your personal life will be kept relatively separate.
Realistically, the content is being offered for sale on the Internet, and no one really has total control of it. There is always the possibility that someone you know will be surfing porn and stumble across your video. This is something you must be able to accept. If you cannot, then don't do this. That being said, there are literally millions of girls out there with nudity of some sort posted online. The odds of any one person finding you are extremely low.
No, you cannot hide your face, wear a wig or a mask or try to obscure your identity with crazy makeup.
Federal law requires me to copy your photo ID and keep it on file. However, this information will never be released to the public.
May I bring an escort?
Yes. Escorts are always allowed. But be warned, we might try to recruit them, too!
Are you Recruiting for Someone Else?
No, not really. I produce adult content because I have the creative urge and the capability to do so. Making money is a secondary factor for me. I produce some of the content to sell directly, and I produce some content for other web sites to sell.
I do have some contacts with other content producers, and I can probably find you other work if you are interested. However, I am mainly only interested in recruiting for my own purposes.
Will I have to do ________? What are the Videos Like?
You won't have to do anything you don't want to do. We will discuss your boundaries clearly so that there is no misunderstanding. Then, when we are booking a shoot, I will send you a list of the kinds of videos I am planning for the day so you can point out any problems. Look around on this site at the descriptions for the various types of videos I plan to make. That should give you an idea of what the possibilities are so you can tell me what you are and are not willing to do.
Your Ideas are Kind of Weird, aren't they?
Yes, and that's the point. There is a huge amount of mainstream content out there, and it would be difficult to compete directly with that. At the same time, I find the mainstream stuff to be lacking in many ways. Arrousal is mostly mental and emotional, and there certain things that different people find interesting.
You probably haven't seen content like a lot of the stuff I produce. It serves narrow niche markets that can be found online. Much of it doesn't even sound sexy, and some of it seems more like comedy than anything. Yes, it is weird. However, no matter how strange it seems, there are people out there who are turned on by it and will buy it. Because it is so unique, I have little or no competition in my target niches.
Will You Pay Travel Expenses?
It depends. If you are driving in a couple hundred miles, I will certainly offer you some gas money, but no hotel accomodations or anything. It is unlikely that I will pay to fly you into the area; I would have to really want to work with you. This is simply because there seems to be enough available talent in this area. I do plan to do a series of road trips, probably shooting out of hotel rooms, so there is some possibility of me coming to you. If you have seen me advertise in your area, it is likely that I am planning a trip there soon.
Are You Looking for Male Models?
Not at this time. Most of my work is for solo/softcore and girl-girl, neither of which involves male talent. I already have plenty of contacts with good male models, so when I need one I'll know where to go. I am not considering applications from male models at this time.
